Here we are my husband Andy and me (Melissa)! We have been married a very happy 4 almost 5yrs (July 8, 2006)! We started seriously dating July 25th 2004 when I became Mom to a 2yr old Alexia and a 4yr old Jacob at 18. It has been a whirlwind adventure since!
This is my 11 yr old future leader Jacob. He is my sweet, obnoxious, talkative, perfectionist, borderline teenager. I couldn't do half the things I do with out him to help encourage kids to have fun, give a helping hand, sibling sit and just about anything I need him to.
Here is my 8yr old princess Alexia. She is my wild, unorganized, artistic, outgoing, helpful, singer. If there is ever a kid nervous about being at church or school she is the first to go help! She drives me crazy and keeps me sane all at the same time.
Here is my 2yr old beauty Mikeayla. She is my life line, when I feel like I just can't get up because I know the laundry pile has hit the ceiling she wakes up, climbes over me for her morning smooch and cereal and somehow I float right out of bed:)
Here are my 11yr old twin neighbors. Although they don't live with us we treat them as our part time kids. They spend most holidays at our house and go on our family vacations with us. They are 2 of the funniest, helpful, smart, grateful kids alive. They fit in perfectly and I feel so blessed to be part of their lives!
Then come our furbabies........yup even more I did say full house didn't I?
This is Kit (short for kitten). In the midst of my Sophomore summer in high school a friend of mine was giving away kittens! Of course my Mom said no because "kittens don't stay kittens forevor"; so what did I do? I named him kitten and the rest is history:) Kit is my baby, he is 9yrs old now and many of my friends say he is just as stubborn as I am, lol:) But he lets me curl up with him and sleeps with his head on the pillow covered in a blanket, he also lets our 2yr old lay on him like a pillow (you'll have to check out the pictures).
Then comes Milo. A year after my husband caved and let me take Kit home from my Mom's I called him from Walmart; with a teeeny meow in the background I told him about the last little kitten in the box and he said 'we could keep her until we could find her a new home'. After bringing our 4week old kitten home Andy took her to the pet store and learned she was too young to be away from Mommy and he got her a heating pad kitten bottle and took her EVERY where with us. She soon became his baby and now 3yrs later she is happy in her Daddy's lap:)
Here is Dash our youngest kitty. We found her 2yrs ago under the porch of our friends house. She was a wild kitten fed off the porch. Andy said if we could catch her that night we could take her home and so with his help we caught her and put her in a box to take home. Of course I wanted to check on her at when we stopped by the store and out she dashed right up into our dash! After about an hour of trying to get her out she somehow curled herself up behind the cd player for the rest of the hour trip home. After dismantled the dashboard in our 05 Dodge Grand Caravan we thought the name Dash fit perfectly:)
Here is Luke. He is a 1 1/2yr old yellow lab mix. We adopted him from the local dog control and boy did we luck out! He is such a sweet dog and hardly ever barks, which we think is the BIGGEST plus of all. He has fit right into our lives and we love him!
Well that's our crew!
